A.J. Violette’s "Rhum Vieux Ambre" est un rhum distillé en colonne, à base de mélasse de fantaisie, vieilli en fûts de chêne américain pendant un minimum de 3 ans. Ce rhum est fermenté, distillé et vieilli entièrement au Nouveau-Brunswick Canada. Mélangé et mis en bouteille en petits lots. Sans arômes ajoutés, sucres ou colorants artificiels. Non filtré à froid.
A.J. Violette’s “Rhum Vieux Ambre” is a column distilled, fancy molasses-based rum, aged in American oak barrels for a minimum of 3 years. This rum is fermented, distilled, and aged entirely in New Brunswick Canada. Blended and bottled in small batches. No added flavouring, sugars or artificial colours. Non-chill filtered.
Tasting Notes (without ice or water):
Nose- It has a light funky aroma, that compliments rum. Candied fruits and toffee, almond, cola.
Pallet- Sarsaparilla, dried fruit, Fresh cinnamon sticks, vanilla, caramel. The mouth feel is nice, not too dry, sweet and comfortable heat, with little spice bombs sensations that go off on your tongue.
Finish- long, a little bit woody and dry with spiciness. Flavours of dried fruit, cinnamon, black pepper, toffee/burnt sugar.

2 mark blend, both currently with a minimum of 3 years age. Aged in virgin and our own x-fill rum barrels. Fancy molasses wash, with 2 yeast varieties. One for funk, one for sweet and spicy balance.
